Children In Worship

Children are included in all worship services. In addition to Children's Time we provide Little Lutheran activity bags for our younger worshipers and activity pages with puzzles and drawing space for young readers for use during the service. Families are encouraged to sit near the front where children can more easily see what is happening or near the organ where a rug has been placed for young ones to stretch out and wiggle a bit.

Our Children’s Choir (grades 2-5) participates in worship once a month, at 9:15AM.

Nursery care is available for infants and children up to age 4 during the Sunday Morning services.

Time: 6:30 PM

Location: St. Mary Catholic Church in Coupeville (207 N. Main St.)

This is a casual, family friendly worship opportunity offered in the Coupeville area. Holy Communion is offered each week. Please come and join us for this very special service offered as part of the ministry of Oak Harbor Lutheran Church.

Times: 8:00 AM & 10:30 AM

Our Sunday services follow the liturgies of our Lutheran hymnals with Holy Communion celebrated on the first, third and fifth Sundays of each month as well as on festivals and weekly during the seasons of Advent and Lent.

Hymns and songs are primarily from the Lutheran Book of Worship and With One Voice hymnals with occasional selections from some newer ELCA publications. Music is led by pipe organ and piano and choirs.

Saturday Evening at 5:30 PM

This is a casual service which honors our Lutheran liturgy and provides a comfortable atmosphere for prayer and praise. This service is under an hour in length, making it particularly family-friendly.

Holy Communion is celebrated weekly. Music is led by a worship team of piano, guitar and vocalists. The songs and music selections come from a variety of resources including those of a more contemporary flavor.
