 Pastor Karen Hanson comes to us with a rich background of ministry. She has served
as a parish pastor, hospital
 and hospice chaplain and spiritual director. Originally aWisconsin girl, she graduated from Luther Seminary in 1983. She and her husband rent an apartment in Coupeville, and make occasional trips back to their home in Kenmore to mow the lawn, pull weeds and the other delights of home ownership.
For fun she likes to knit ( her current passion is socks) and go for day hikes with her husband. This is her fifth interim overall.
