Lynne Ogren serves as both the Director of Family Ministry and the Music Minister and is an Associate in Ministry with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. She has been on staff here since 1995 when she and her family relocated to Oak Harbor from Grass Valley, CA. Her background is in elementary education a Lynne feels blessed to be a part of this congregation. As the Music Minister she enjoys working with the people who bring a wide spectrum of musical gifts to our worship experiences. Family Ministry is a long-time passion of hers. As a parent, she knows what a challenge it is to raise happy, healthy children in today's society. The goal of Family Ministry is to provide support and resources to families that help parents take a lead role in raising their children in the Christian faith. nd she is a lifelong Lutheran. She is married and has two children who attend school in the Oak Harbor School District.
